Our paper “LIDC: A Location Independent Multi-Cluster Computing Framework for Data Intensive Science” has been published at the INDIS Workshop at Supercomputing 2024.

The work presents a Kubernetes-based framework that enables location-transparent job scheduling across geographically distributed computing clusters, allowing scientists to submit data-intensive workloads without specifying which cluster should run them. Authors: Sankalpa Timilsina and Susmit Shannigrahi.
